Initial Course

This 3-day course is required for individuals who will provide oversight and management of microbial remediation projects. This is also ideal training for general contractors, facility owners, and consultants who need to be knowledgeable of the details and principles of mold remediation.

Trainee(s) may receive a full refund if their registration is cancelled prior to the start of a program.  If a program is in progress, no refunds will be issued if trainee(s) withdraw from class.  A credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis.

This course is required for any person who wishes to analyze asbestos air samples onsite. The course will also provide students the ability to properly collect air samples including calibration of air sampling pumps.  The course includes 2 days of hands on training with microscopes, including calibration, resolution testing, understanding all parts of the microscope, trouble shooting, sample preparation, reference sample reading, fiber counting, and other topics.

This 2-day course will address the procedures and protocols involved in inspecting and assessing a building for mold growth. Students will learn about microbial contaminants, sampling strategies, collection and handling, and data interpretation. They will also develop an understanding of building construction and HVAC issues related to conditions that may promote microbial growth.

This course is recommended for individuals who will be working on mold remediation projects. Cleaning and restoration personnel, as well as facility maintenance personnel, will benefit from the basic knowledge and techniques recommended to safely respond to areas contaminated with mold.

The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides training for workers, supervisors and employer management on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

Through this program, workers can attend 10-hour or 30-hour classes delivered by OSHA-authorized trainers.

The 30-hour class is more appropriate for workers, supervisors and management personnel with some safety responsibility.

This Confined Space training course meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA (Construction) and 29 CFR 1910.146 (General Industry) for permit-required confined spaces. Students will be proficient in functioning as authorized entrants, attendants, and competent persons/entry supervisors in permit-required confined space entry operations. They will acquire the understanding, knowledge, and skills to safely perform their assigned confined space duties. Each student will also receive basic training in performing non-entry rescue.

This is a 1-day course.

This annual refresher course is required for individuals with current OSHA HAZWOPER training certification.

This course provides the basic knowledge and techniques required for workers who are potentially exposed to hazardous substances and health hazards while performing contaminated site work activities.  This course meets the initial training requirements of OSHA’s HAZWOPER standard (29 CFR 1910.120; 29 CFR 1926.65) and includes chemical and physical hazards, toxicology, respiratory protection, decontamination, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, confined space entry, and personal protective equipment.
