Refresher

This course provides the basic knowledge and techniques required for workers who are performing contaminated site work activities, but will not be exposed to airborne levels of hazardous substances above any OSHA PEL's or other OSHA regulated limits.   This course meets the initial training requirements of OSHA’s HAZWOPER standard (29 CFR 1910.120; 29 CFR 1926.65) and includes chemical and physical hazards, toxicology, decontamination, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, confined space entry, and personal protective equipment.

This annual refresher course is required for individuals with current OSHA HAZWOPER training certification.

This one-day refresher course is required annually to maintain a certification in asbestos project designing. It provides an update on applicable regulations and refreshes individuals on the development of asbestos abatement project designs and writing abatement plans. The course also updates individuals on developments in relevant technologies and abatement procedures.

To obtain the state license or permit, trainees must have proof of education and/or experience. Contact Access or the appropriate state for details.

The Asbestos Building Inspector Course is a 1/2 day course in the morning.

This one-half day refresher course is required annually for individuals with a current EPA AHERA building inspector license. To obtain the state license or permit, trainees must have proof of education and/or experience. Contact Access or the appropriate state for details.

Recently, New Jersey eliminated dual-certification courses, meaning New Jersey only and Pennsylvania only license holders CANNOT attend the same class.  If you carry licenses in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, you may attend the New Jersey only course and acquire your Pennsylvania license via reciprocity.

This one-day refresher course is required annually for asbestos abatement workers to retain their certification. It updates individuals on the skills and knowledge to perform asbestos abatement operations and provides an overview of current information as well as updates to state and Federal regulations.

This one-half day refresher course is required annually for individuals working in asbestos operations and maintenance to maintain certification. It reviews information presented in the initial course, such as the properties, uses, and health effects of asbestos, as well as respiratory protection and safe work practices. The course also provides an update on relevant state and Federal regulations.

Part of the EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting Program

If you work in home, schools, day care centers built pre-1978, you must be EPA lead-safe certified. A trained Renovator must provide supervision on these projects.

This one-day refresher course is required every two years for lead abatement supervisors to maintain their certification for commercial buildings and superstructures. A second certificate for OSHA Lead Competent Person Refresher will also be provided upon successful completion of this program. This course updates individuals on relevant state and Federal regulations, and refreshes them on information presented in the initial course.
