EPA Lead Renovator (Initial Course)

If you work in home, schools, day care centers built pre-1978, you must be EPA lead-safe certified. A trained Renovator must provide supervision on these projects.

Details for extensions of Renovator certifications:
Renovators trained prior to March 31, 2010 must refresh by March 31, 2016. Initial training from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011 must refresh within 6 years of course completion date. After these dates, trainees must attend the initial training again.

EPA did not grant an extension for training received after April 1, 2011. Expiration is as indicated on the Certificate of Training which is 5 years.

INITIAL CLASSES CANNOT BE TAKEN ONLINE.

 

Trainee(s) may receive a full refund if their registration is cancelled prior to the start of a program.  If a program is in progress, no refunds will be issued if trainee(s) withdraw from class.  A credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis.
