Regulatory Compliance Training Philadelphia

OSHA Training near Philadelphia

For well over two decades, Access Training Services has specialized in regulatory compliance training programs for industry professionals in the greater Philadelphia area.

Specifically, these courses are designed for remodeling contractors; painters; plumbers; carpenters; commercial and home renovation companies; and disaster recovery and reconstruction specialists looking to sharpen their skills and expand their knowledge in areas such as asbestos management, mold remediation, EPA lead dust sampling and lead abatement.

A significant part of the curriculum at Access Training, however, centers around OSHA Outreach Training for workers, managers, and supervisors interested in preventing health and safety hazards at the workplace.

Although most of our instruction still takes place in the classroom, we have initiated over 100 online certificate programs in areas such as OSHA safety, outreach, and hazardous waste operations. Regardless of whether people learn online or in the classroom, our mission is to provide excellent training and first-rate customer service to our students.

OSHA Construction Industry Outreach Training Programs

Because these courses are required by many federal and state jurisdictions to work on construction sites, students receive a certificate upon completion of the course. Their objective is to help entry-level construction workers raise their safety awareness and to mitigate risk and industrial hazards at construction sites.

Basically, our OSHA seminars teach workers and managers about recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. Our curriculum also includes information about workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint.

Despite consistent efforts to improve worker safety, the construction industry remains one of the most dangerous professions. Our high-quality OSHA training programs teach the standards set forth in the Occupational Safety and Health Act, which was enacted to ensure on-the-job health and safety conditions. Taught by OSHA authorized trainers, these courses apply the OSHA standards specifically to the construction industry. Within this program, workers have the choice of a 10-hour or a 30-hour class. The longer class is better suited to employees and managers with some level of safety responsibility.

OSHA Hazardous Waste Worker Course

Access Training also conducts OSHA courses for hazardous waste workers, which are designed to meet the training requirements of OSHA’s HAZWOPER standard. These seminars include instruction on the basic techniques for workers who may be exposed to hazardous substances and health issues while working at contaminated sites. In addition to the courses mentioned above, Access Training Services also offers lead abatement courses in which the participant receives an OSHA certification.

New COVID-19 and the Workplace Seminars

OSHA is preparing for audits following complaints, illnesses, and fatalities resulting from COVID-19. This webinar will outline the regulations upon which the audits will focus and how to be prepared with the appropriate programs and records to limit your company’s potential for OSHA fines. We also offer interactive seminars for COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting protocols for abatment contractors.
