This course provides the basic knowledge and techniques required for workers who are performing contaminated site work activities, but will not be exposed to airborne levels of hazardous substances above any OSHA PEL's or other OSHA regulated limits. This course meets the initial training requirements of OSHA’s HAZWOPER standard (29 CFR 1910.120; 29 CFR 1926.65) and includes chemical and physical hazards, toxicology, decontamination, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, confined space entry, and personal protective equipment.
Trainee(s) may receive a full refund if their registration is cancelled prior to the start of a program. If a program is in progress, no refunds will be issued if trainee(s) withdraw from class. A credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis.
