Access Training offers a four-day required course for workers performing asbestos abatement. In addition to thorough instruction regarding the procedures and practices used in asbestos abatement, it also covers the relevant EPA regulations. Upon finishing the course, workers will fully understand the potential health hazards concerning asbestos and how to perform their jobs in a way that shields both themselves and the public from asbestos exposure.

 

EPA Asbestos Abatement Contractor/Supervisor

Any company involved in asbestos abatement needs a licensed supervisor on their staff to become a licensed company. For this reason, Access Training offers a five-day training course for those who will supervise asbestos abatement projects. This program covers the EPA and OSHA regulations for asbestos abatement projects for both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It also satisfies the OSHA requirements for the trainee to function as a Competent Person on these worksites.

Furthermore, this program is also helpful for building owners, regulatory officials, industrial technicians, and safety officers who should be knowledgeable about the different aspects of abatement projects.

EPA Asbestos Building Inspector

Required training for individuals who want to obtain an EPA AHERA building inspector license, this three-day training program teaches the skills necessary to perform asbestos inspections in schools and public or commercial buildings. Upon completing of the course, individuals may do building surveys by taking samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials.

EPA Asbestos Management Planner

Access Training offers a two-day course for workers who need to create asbestos management plans and assess the hazards of asbestos-containing materials as required by the EPA AHERA (schools K - 12) regulation. In addition, a current building inspector training certificate is required to become a management planner.

EPA Asbestos Project Designer

Access Training has a three-day training course for individuals who need to know how to design asbestos abatement projects or who must write asbestos abatement plans. This program focuses on the health effects and regulations concerning asbestos as well as the different factors involved in designing abatement projects.
