This four-day course is required for the training of individuals in the abatement of lead for commercial buildings and superstructures. These workers find employment primarily on superstructures with bridge, overpass, and tank painting contractors.
The course discusses the history, properties, and health effects of lead, methods of lead detection, abatement strategies, and various on-site work practices. Comprehensive hands-on training is provided during the course.
