This 1 day program fulfills the HUD initial training required Lead-based Paint (LBP) for Lead Sampling Techs, also called Lead Clearance Technician. The trainee will be able to perform visual assessments and clearance wipe sampling following certain non-abatement activities. Training topics include characteristics and uses of lead, health effects, regulatory overview, visual assessments and wipe sampling protocols. The open enrollment program conducted at ACCESS include: instruction, and demonstrations.
