This 24 hour program fulfills the OSHA initial training requirement for personnel. Onsite for a "specific limited task." Per 29CFR 29 CFR19.10120e 3ii, "workers onsite only occasionally for a specific limited task (such as, but not limited to, ground water monitoring, land surveying, or geophysical surveying) and who are unlikely to be exposed over the PEL and published exposure limits." Training topics include characteristics of hazardous substances and waste, medical surveillance for field personnel, toxicology, respirators and protective clothing, environmental direct reading indicators, decontamination procedures, and safe work practices. The open enrollment programs are conducted at ACCESS in 3 eight hour days include classroom instruction, demonstrations, and lunches. Onsite contract programs are also available.
