This 40 hour Initial Program fulfills the OSHA initial training requirements for site remediation personnel. Training topics include: characteristics of hazardous substances and waste, medical surveillance for field personnel, toxicology, respirators and protective clothing, environmental direct reading indicators, decontamination procedures, and safe work practices. The open enrollent programs are conducted at ACCESS in 4 ten hour days include classroom instruction, demonstrations, and lunches. Onsite contract programs are also available.
Duration: Four Days, 40-Hour Program
Refresher Program: This 8 hour program fulfills the OSHA requirement for annual refresher training for the above program. Training topics include a review of the above topics, as well as regulatory updates and changes in technology for remediation. Onsite contract programs are available.
Duration: 1 Day, 8-Hours
Prerequisites: An initial or refresher of this program must have been completed within 3 years prior to scheduled date of refresher.
