This 4 day program fulfills the EPA Model Accreditation Program initial training requirments for lead-bases paint abatement workers who perform work in commerical buildings, bridges, tanks, and other steel superstructures. This trainings is also accredited by the State of New Jersey. Training topics include history, characteristics and uses of lead, health hazards of exposure, OSHA worker protection regulations, exposure monitoring, work area preparation, respirators and protective clothing, decontamination procedures, waste disposal, safe work practices, fall protection, other heavy metals in industrial paints, and related topics. The open enrollment program conducted at ACCESS includes classroom instructions, demonstrations, and workshops.
