This 4 day program fulfills the EPA Model Accreditation initial training requirements for asbestos abatement workers. Training topics include characteristics and uses of asbestos, health hazards of exposure, OSHA worker protection regulations, exposure monitoring, negative pressure enclosures, respirators and protective clothing, decontamination procedures, waste disposal, and safe work pratices. The open enrollment program conducted at ACCESS includes classroom instruction, demonstrations, and workshops. Onsite contract programs are available. This training is also accredited by the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
