This 3 day Initial Program program fulfills the EPA Model Accreditation plan for initial training required for asbestos building inspectors. Training topics include characteristics and uses of asbestos, health hazards of exposure, regulations, air monitoring, respirators and protective clothing considerations, inspection protocols, sampling techniques, building system evaluations, interpretation of drawings and blueprints, and quality assurance procedures. The open enrollment program conducted at ACCESS includes instruction, demonstrations, and workshops. Onsite contract programs are also available. This training is accredited by the state of Pennsylvania.

Refresher Program
This 4 hour program fulfills the EPA Model Accreditation Plan for refresher training required annually for the above program. Training topics include an overview of the above topics, and updates of regulations and current technology. Onsite contract programs are available.
DURATION: 1/2 Day
Prerequisites: Building Inspector Initial or refresher program within last two years.
